Question about Speedball and blood-pressure

I want to do a speedball, I have plenty experience IV'ing Heroin and Coke separately and a little experience doing them together. I know It's 'Dangerous' but my main concern is blood pressure. While doing meth last year I had 2 mild brain bleeds, also known as strokes and have avoided Stims like the plague.

But I find myself wanting to do a speedball and I'm wondering will the Heroin kind of act against the coke when it comes to the whole bloodpressure thing? Will I be at just as great a risk of having another stroke as if I just shot coke?

I wouldn't do it if I were you. Here's why (and this is not taking into account any existing blood pressure and/or heart problems you may or may not have):

Blow is a potent vasoconstrictor. Vasoconstriction causes hypertension. Hypertension means your heart has to work harder to properly pump blood to vital parts of your body such as your brain.

Smack depresses the breathing reflex thus reducing the amount of oxygen taken from your lungs to your heart via your blood.

Now you've got a heart that's already working harder than normal pumping oxygen deprived blood. You're asking for trouble.

I guess I didn't really answer your question though.

The heroin should lower the blood pressure increase caused by the blow to a certain extent. But the way heroin decreases blood pressure is done in a very different way than the blow increasing your blood pressure. What I mean to say is, heroin is not a vasodilator.

If you must try this combo then at least take an aspirin to thin your blood beforehand just in case.

I dunno, are you used to mixing uppers and downers?
To me, a speedball is no big deal, its just like a shot of coke, and you happen to be high on heroin while the coke shot is wearing off.

People do die from this stuff though. Better safe than sorry?

Yeah, I think better safe than sorry might be the way to go. That's the same reason while I'll never do meth again. I got off way too lucky. Fucking doctors asking me whats 2+4 and expecting me to say 24 or 17. I was absolutely fine and some people are crippled by that shit.

But i guess it kind of runs in my family? Didn't know it until recently but my dad let me know the he had a stroke back in 05...and I remember smoking crack with him in 07 and 08. Still, he refused to touch meth.

I may try it. but it if i do it'll be a noticeable but negligible amount of coke with a lot of heroin.

Honestly, If you gotta do this, heres what i recommend: just figure out a right proper dose of coke for IV.. alone.. when your comfortable with what you measure out for that, add some heroin, *not a lot*

Its my hunch that the heroin is the main catalyst in the killing you factor.. :P
 
I don't know a whole lot about the specifics about this topic, and I can't give you actual advice about how to do this safely. However, I can tell you that speedballing is what killed my Uncle. I think he had high blood pressure to begin with.

It was actually the first time he tried it. He did it once and it went straight to his heart, giving him an immediate massive heart attack. He left my aunt widowed, and my two cousins who were still children at the time fatherless.

I'm not saying don't do it... I'm just saying if you're not absolutely sure consider the consequences, that's all.

That's awful, man. I'm sorry for your families loss...poor kids.

My blood pressure on a day to day basis is fine. Infact if it's not perfect where it should be it's on the lower side. It's just that i think thats what caused my strokes was a massive spike in blood pressure. for the days after the stroke my BP was high, the docs even put me on Lindafil or whatever it is. I was reading shit like 170/116 or something. Now on average It's 113/76.

I think my ticker is fine, except recently during a physical the doctor let me know I have a "tiny" heart murmur

Thank you for your condolences. I appreciate it. This happened a long time ago. My cousins are in their 20's now, but they're still missing their father. Again, I'm sorry I don't have any genuine advice or experience in this area to give you, I just wanted to share my personal story to help you consider the outcome and the fact that one misstep could be instantly fatal.

Oh, so your blood pressure is OK then. If you think you're in good health and you think you can handle it, then you have to make your own choice about it. If you must do it, then I would at least try to find out a bit more information or talk to some people around here. I'm sure there's somebody here that can give you good advice about this.
