Question about smushing Adderall XR beads

Oh I agree, any stimulant tastes terrible. I gag too if I taste them. Like if I wrap it in some blunt wrap, but it breaks open when I'm swallowing it. I've thrown it back up before because of that with 4-FA. Yet my mother eats the shit straight up. I don't understand how. Same with adderall. She just eats it then takes a drink.
 
Haha well I'll give you that it tastes terrible Swampfox but I'd say a minute of slight oral discomfort is well worth the hours of euphoria. Plus if I use a chaser or something the taste doesn't even bother me at all. (But that's just me)

I'd say best way to do it is the shot glass method but with a small glass of a more pungent tasting liquid at close hand and just go for the other liquid as quick as you can after taking the addy-shot to avoid tasting that sweet-crushed up aspirin with splenda material as described above.
 
Im Rx'd adderall xr 20mg also.

My doc won't prescribe IR anyway.
I crush up th beads into a fine powder(used to have a pill crusher, now it's just a jar and long blunt object to pulverize it), every time i take them.

I hardly ever take them though, they are shitty IMO.

I actually extracted the Dextroamphetamine from 2 pills a few days ago into an oral suspension, but haven't got around to taking it yet. Maybe i'l try it out tomorrow/

A lot of doctors simply refuse to prescribe certain opioids or certain stimulants, especially if there is an equal alternative which could be less problematic for the user in terms of abuse. Immediate release drugs are generally abused more than extended release medications.

There are tons of doctors who refuse to prescribe anything except lisdexamphetamine and methylphenidate for AD(H)D.
 
^^I think lisdex. is extremely underrated and actually much more euphoric than adderall. I wouldn't put it close to methylphenidate.

Eh that's subjective, to each his own. I've never personally tried vyvanse, but really the only reason Adderall isn't that great is because of the levoamphetamine. Dexedrine (which I've never had either) is supposed to be far superior since it only contains dextroamphetamine and no levoamphetamine.
 
^ Not quite, and even if your subjective experience was applicable for everyone, doctors don't know that...yet.
 
I am not familiar with the release mechanism of these beads, but perhaps crushing a known amount of beads (as in weight of amphetamine in mg) and making a solution for oral IR dosing at a known concentration would be a better idea than eyeballing half the beads each time you dose. As mentioned, amphetamine tastes funky, so the concentration should be high enough to allow you to take it like a shot of alcohol, with a juice chaser or something.

It sucks that you have to macgyver your own dosing regimen because your doctor doesn't want to Rx IR meds.

I would maybe start looking around for another.
