A few of my friends warned me about sleeping aids put into pills around 8 months ago, I didn't think anything about it. Two weekends ago I double dropped, I fell asleep a few times while I was peaking, and just couldn't stay awake. All my other friends experienced the same thing. I tested the pill and it reacted very slow (purple to black around 10 sec). The pills were below average and the comeup was nothing special. My question is, has anyone experienced this? Are there any documantions stating that sleep aids were found in pills? I'm an experienced user, and I'm sure nothing else really played a role in this.

No I have never heard of sleeping pills being added into ecstasy although what I have found is that some people are often over powered by mdma or even mda to the point where their eyes close and they will feel like they are asleep.
I know lots of people including myself who after a large dose of mdma have seemed as though they are sleeping because their eyes have closed but its not sleep just a common side effect.
Generally I would think this indicates a strong dose of md**
As for 10 seconds being a slow reaction, I dont think ten seconds purple to black is slow at all.

I never heard of this and I think it doesn't make any sense for the makers to put sleeping compounds into an XTC pill. When they put caffeine or speed or any stimulant it sucks but at least they can mimic some of X's qualities, but benzos or any downers will not help them sell more pills.
My humble guess, since the pill reacted very slowly to Marquis reagent, is that it must have been a pill with a very low amount of mdma and nothing else, no other active components.

It's true what your're saying masheadatronic, but I defiently was not overpowered by the pill, I had a low dosage for me, the quality of MD** was low, and I got extremely sleepy. Nothing I've experienced before from a pill, pretty bunk shit, but I'm curious.

stardragon, what kind of pills are you getting? 10 seconds is quite slow, in my opinion. I guess if there are going to be good ass pills there's going to be shitty pills, just some of us have gotten to the point that they don't buy any weak pills.

I would disagree ten seconds is slow, especially when you look at the fact that you are picking binder + active ingredients from the pill to test, I would say 10 seconds is of an average speed for the pill to react.
I have had good strong pills take up to 45 seconds to fully go black or deep purple because they have been pills with a large quantity of binder in them aswell as a large amount of mdma so 10 seconds is not long.
When testing pills with the marquis reagent anything over a minute would be considered a long time.

altho i'm with the crowd that says if it takes 10 seconds to change, that's a while.. i've never had a pill take that long. powder MDMA of course goes instantly jet black, but i mean pressed pills...

In the past year ive tested well over 20 different pills and believe me some have taken longer than 10 seconds to react although this has not really made too much difference to the quality of the pill.

The good folks in Pill Testing may add more, but I was thinking this pill at dancesafe, moon (yellow) would make you feel sleepy.

Unlikely you would get a sedative or hypnotic to mix in with MDMA. It really makes no sense to mix the two.
Remember that seratonin, the chemical that gets released during an MDMA experience, is also directly related to sleep. It is not too unusual to fall asleep on MDMA pills.

Ive only experienced this once on pills. Right in the height of my peak when I blinked I found my eyes were really really heavy to open and I kinda blacked out for a few seconds, then I was totally alert again. This happened maybe 6 to 7 times during my peak. I was fine afterwards tho. Very strange.
