Question about shrooms

Ok i did shrooms about 8+x when I was 16-18 now Im older & Im going to have a good amount soon... Well im not afraid to do them I just have some anxiety now days & dont want the trip to go in the wrong direction if you know what I mean... I have heard from some people you can take a benzo if the anxiety gets to be to much... When i was younger I wouldnt care I would just go with the flow but Im older & dont like the thought of a bad experience.... My question is has anyone used a benzo while under the influence of mushi's to stop the anxiety.. If so does it stop the trip/enlightenment because I wouldnt want that, just help for the anxiety... i just smoke weed to calm down.. it is my favorite thing to combine it with psychs anyway..

I think smoking weed is bad advice.
Im an every day smoker and use pot to help me with everyday anxiety. If i were to smoke it while having a bad trip i think it would only make the trip even more intense and hard to handle.

Using a benzo will stop trip anxiety while still allowing you trip, so they are good to have on hand.

Some people say that taking a benzo will take away from the "enlightenment" aspect of the trip. I found this to be case most of the time but have also had a trip where i had taken a benzo to be very powerful and deep.

Either way, having them on hand wont hurt.

Start with a reasonable dosage (2-2.5g dried) and you should be fine.

If you dont dose to heavy on the shrooms you should be fine

Only take a benzo if you really need it and are having a bad trip , I wouldnt take them before hand

It would only dampen the trip , xanax works good for bringing you down because its very fast acting
