First off, not sure if this is the right section so move it if it isn't.

I have a question about using average scales to weigh up 10mg + another 20 - 30mg of another substance. These scales are very average and borrowed from a mate as my mg ones broke. It being completely exact as long as its not over or under 10 mg im fine but will these scales weigh it up half decently? They go down two decimal places on grams so i suppose it will work to some degree. Need advice asap as im doing this tomorow, thanks :)

I use my .00 as if it were calibrated correctly, but somewhere, some time, there was +/- % information listed somewhere as to the accuracy of it. I figure them to usually be +/- 1/2 of the smallest amount it can measure (a reading of .01 could be .005-.015). Pure speculation of course, but a .01 isn't going to be over an actual .02, however for a 2C or the like, that's a rather large difference... Measure out .100 and put it in 100mL if it'll dissolve (check solubility), and each mL is 1ug

^I would take this advice. Scales need to be accurate to 0.001g to be used as a mg scale for sure. Liquid measurement, as Pjkt2501 explained, is a safe alternative. There are lots of liquid measurement threads around Bluelight (I recommend using the Advanced Search feature and looking through the Psychedelic Drugs forum - lots of good discussion on liquid measurement in there).

My situation is with am-2201 + 694 so making the mix 10mg stronger is not the end of the world as I can just use less herb as I already mix with toabaco, as im trying to make a pretty weak mix, especially for this lone gram im creating while my proper herbs get shipped. Thanks for the help guys, I don't think I should have too much hassle and I don't know if I should make the solution with all of the chem as it might not keep very well

Only put as much in solution as you'll use in the amount of time it takes to break down in solution. Some are more prone to degradation than others, but all are more prone in solution.
