question about priority of color reaction

I recently got some really crappy MDMA (most of it melted on me) and I ordered a testing kit. The MDMA came up positive for MDMA on all tests (marquis, mecke, mandelin & x-treme), negative for primary amine. (MDA, dex-Amphetamine, PMA, 2C-B, DOB or waste product from the production process.) I got no color reaction on this test.

Now am I correct in my understanding that what I would have would be powder (kinda) with very low MDMA content (because I could not feel any effects) but no other dangerous chemicals in it?

Also I'm wondering which substance takes priority for the color change in a test? If a pill or substance had MDMA and speed in it, which would most likely show up in the test? The one with the highest content? I tried doing all the research I could on site before asking but could not find the information I was looking for. If anyone could point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like you got some really stepped on molly. :( You have to be extra careful when buying molly/powder/ect, it can be adulterated or diluted much easier than a pill. Also, I have to ask, how did it melt on you if it was in powder form?

Usually any adulterants will change the reagent color first. For example, with Marquis, if you see a flash of orange or brown before a purple/black color, you know the pill has some kind of amp content. Sometimes you will get an immediate purple/black color with Marquis, but then notice orange swirls or rings in the reagent. Like you said, it depends on which chemical has the highest content.

Hope this helps. :)
