Ok so years ago when I was a dumb teen and experimenting with drugs, I did a ~dozen, I.V injections that were from pills specifically. You know when you have a crushed pill or gel from a gelcap and dilute it with water, and filter it like 2-3 times with a cotton ball method. So here's the question... I know that method is so dangerous and dumb because the "fillers" or "binders" from pills that are water solvable never dissolve and can cause permanent damage, So how do I know now that I haven't caused any serious damage to my veins or arteries. I' sober now and worried about my health, thanks.

I'm no expert on the subject, but my guess would be that with a maximum of less than 20 injections, in someone otherwise healthy, you probably don't have too much to worry about.

First off, if youre truly worried, go see a doc. All we can do is speculate and give you a few ideas.

Most binders end up in your lungs or cause clots. Niether are good.

The chances of you having any dmg is fairly slim, although unless you used wheel filters and micron filters, anything is possible.

Wheel and micron filters dont even produce a "safe" injectable liquid. It is much safer than using cotton filters,

I bet ur alright some folks say they feel optic nerve damage which basically can lead to loss of eyesight from so called binders and fillers ... food for thought

Insite (where I used to get my gear at in Van) used to give out micron filters for injection, me and my ex always used to use them on dope. When we moved to a new town the dope was so cut it wouldn't dissolve into solution and the micron filters were necessary to suck up the mushy mess. But if you used cotton and only IV'd a few times, I'd say you're fine just don't do it anymore the binders and fillers won't get filtered by it and could cause a clot or something else nasty to happen!

How soon would the problems like clots, and eye / lung problems, come after injecting? Is my only question now.

I'm no doctor but I am sure that your body has taken care of them if it has been several years.

Live and learn.

If it has been several years and you've had no ill effect, I'd say you're in the clear.

just wanted to bump this to see if anyone had any other insight on this. Would my body have removed the unwanted junk from my blood stream over a long period of time or could I have something dangerous come up later in my life?

What are the signs that something has happened? and even if I went to a doctor about it how would they test if something happened from the old pill slams?

More info : I am turning 20 years old, and did the ~dozen injections at age 15, then about half a year ago did 2 Pill injections.

I just curious if getting "floaters/flashes/brightstreaks" is considered retina damage because I did get that roughly around the same time after the last 2 injections but wasn't sure if that was from the injecting. And do notice some dyspnea that may have started around the last two injections.

But I did go to a doctor about my shortness of breath and she did a full lung test that came normal and said it was probably because I just gained some weight recently that would cause it. And I went to an eye doctor and he said my floater things are normal also and just come with age.

thanks. just any input would help me because I am a bit of a hypochondriac about health heh and just made some dumb mistakes with the slaming
