Hi bluelight! So recently I have been experimenting with various types of benzos, primarily Xanax and Klonopin. I find the Kpins to be far more recreational, as they seem to deliver a body buzz and leave me confident and uninhibited. The Xanax pills just turn me into a slurring zombie, and I usually pass out for several hours. Anyway, I experimented with xanax for a week back in december, leading up to christmas day, then had a month long break. On January 24, I got some Kpins, and tested 4mg worth, which gave me a nice buzz and sent me off to sleep. The next day (January 25), I dosed 4mg of Kpins at 1:10 PM, and another 4mg at 2:10 PM. I became extremely extroverted, and rang up several friends, saying that we should go to a bar later that night. I always promised myself that I would never drink on benzos, but I had lost most of my inhibitions at this point, and at 7:15 PM, slammed down five 250ml cans of 7% abv smirnoff and gurana. I then went out to town with one of my friends (he was the sober driver). My memory got extremely patchy around this point, but we arrived at the bar, and at 11:40 PM, I consumed 660ml of 5% abv beer, and from 12 AM-1:30 AM, I consumed two drinks- a 330ml bottle of 7% abv Smirnoff and Lemonade, and a 330ml bottle of 5% abv beer. My friend thinks that I may have had a few more drinks, but my bank records do not show this, and the bar was serving free non alcoholic beverages, which I was probably drinking, and he probably thought were cocktails.
At any rate, I was utterley destroyed, hitting on any girl I could see, trying to start fights with guys, and making a fool of myself dancing, all classic benzo/alcohol combo things. My friend was sober the whole time, and said that he did not see me pass out or anything, but did see me in a dazed, confused state, sitting on a couch in the bar, drinking the aforementioned Smirnoff and Lemonade drink. He said my eyes were open, but I was so fucked up that I didin't recognize him, and he had to tell me who he was. I then almost got in a fight with a guy, and a bouncer dragged me out of the bar, and pushed me outside. I ended up sitting outside the bar, smoking cigs with some randoms guys I met. They said later that I was extremely fucked up, but not in a state of passing out or falling unconcious. I then tried to reenter the bar, and was pushed out by the biuncer again, who was apparently extremely pissed off at me. My friend basically carried me to his car, although he said I was still concious and talking. Before going home, I ran behind the bar, and punched a corrugated metal fence that encloses the bars outside drinking area. I then pissed on the fence and punched a parked truck, my friend got me out of the area quickly, but he said that a security van drove past us, just as we were leaving, obviously it had been called because someone heard my punching of the fence. Once my friend dropped me back home, at about 5am, my mum was extremely angry at how long out I had been. I apparently yelled at her, and punched the walls of the house multiple times. I then sat outside until sunrise, and made+drank a coffee at about 8am, with no hangover.
Here is my question- is it possible that brain/body damage was caused by respiratory depression related to the night of benzos and booze? Bear in mind that by 2:10 PM I had 8mg of Clonazepam in my system, but I did not start drinking until 7:15PM, and even then, only 5 small cans of 7% abv. I blacked out for much of the night, but everyone who saw me in the bar said that I was fully concious, just immensley fucked up. Could I have suffered severe respiratory depression while still remaining concious and not passing out? Could I have suffered brain damaging oxygen deprivation, even though I was awake the whole time? Also, how dangerous was the combo of 8mg CLonazepam, then a 5 hour break before a few drinks, then another 5 hour break before drinking again? I immensley regret the night, it truly showed me what a hellish combo benzos and alcohol can be. I am lucky I was not beaten up or arrested. Thanks for reading everyone
