Question about plugging

Hello, I'm sorry to post a new thread, but I couldn't find my answer.
I have a vial of valium 1% solution. I know that there is no real advantage to take it rectally rather than orally. In my case, the only advantage really is that my ass cannot taste the horrible flavor of this solution. So, it's a matter of comfort. According to the notice, diazepam is mixed with propylene glycol and ethanol. Is there any chance that the rectal BA is lowered by these excipients ? I really don't care taking twice as much if needed, but I would like to know if anybody has some kind of experience with this. For the story, I tried this with oral liquid clonazepam, and the alcohol ratio made it ... unpleasant (which is quite silly ; the taste of oral rivotril is delightful !)
Thanks in advance.

Okay, so for the science, I plugged 40 mg (4ml) of this solution 45 minutes ago. First, it produces like 30-45 secondes of a mild irritating sensation(nothing, compared to clonazepam), the onset seems to be about 20-25 minutes. I can't really compare with the oral route, as my latter experciences with benzos go back to a few monthes (when I could barely feel my daily 150mgs of oxazepam, due to tolerance.). I however clearly feel the benzo mellow high, which is pleasant. Yet, I still do not know if the oral route would have made a comparable effet.

All medical benzodiazepine solutions are made with Propylene Glycol and can be plugged. There really is no advantage though, the bioavailability of Diazepam is 93-100%, so the only advantage is avoiding the taste. I have an Alprazolam solution that tastes absolutely terrible but I just take a small glass and squirt in 1-2mL (2mg/mL solution) and add a small amount of CocaCola then take it like a shot with chase afterwards. Take a few sips of regular CocaCola afterwards and the taste is gone.

Funny thing is, you actually grow accustom to the taste of it.

But, overall, oral administration is the most effective route for Benzodiazepines (medical IV aside). Just take it orally, plugging it in my opinion is a waste of time and you're choosing to feel uncomfortable (sticking an oral syringe up your rectum) rather than have a little bit of a bitter taste. Do you drink alcohol? If so, it's basically the same as taking a shot of Vodka. Plugging Benzodiazepines is pointless.

Thank you. Plugging does not bother me, and is actually quite fast, given you have the right tools. But I'll folow your advices, and plug a shot of vodka ;)
