Stimulants Question about Parents and Perscriptions

You posted on a public forum, and now are bitching again about not receiving the exact answers you wanted?

I live with my parents, despite being a 22 year old college student who can easily support himself if he wanted, so I'm totally with you there. I love my parents, my brother, our home, and our cat, and think that anyone going through heavy anxieties through the best years of his life, to make sure they have living expenses on the table every month, is needlessly suffering if they didn't have to. If someone hated their parents, had a bad living situation, etc then it's worth it, but I agree with you for those falling on the other end of the spectrum.

Having said that, you have to see how incredibly immature you are with your last post, lol. You're getting defensive for absolutely no reason; no one told you how to live your life, YOU did. You chose to live with your parents and to have them pay for your prescriptions; they might have wanted you there, but they certainly didn't force you to stay. You keep saying that you can pay for your own prescription and not have to follow your parents' stringent rules, so either do so already or stop complaining about it. You have two choices here, either the logical one of not wasting money at the expense of following your parents' rules, or to pay for your own prescription and not have to follow those rules.

Your naivety cuts through your intelligence with your statement, "f you want to conform yours into a copy of the rest of modern day society's brains, then go ahead, but don't expect me to join you." This makes absolutely no sense, and shows how susceptible you are to the addictive tendencies of amphetamines. Your reasoning is clearly flawed in your whine-filled rants, and your reasoning can just as easily be flawed as you justify your possibly budding addiction. You can just argue that we are "conformed to autonomous, puritan societal norms where Adderall abuse is frowned upon," and that we "shouldn't expect [you] to join [us]." You're a fucking eighteen year old; no matter how "intelligent" you think you might be, your reasoning has not been fully developed in your developing brain, and you will easily justify your addictions and actions without seeing the obvious flaws in your doing so.

Awesome post, Ergic! You knocked this one out of the park :D ! Shame that getting through to angsty teenagers who are definitely mature enough ( ;) ) to manage prescriptions for addictive meds is like fighting a wall :\ ...
