Question about molly capsule weight.

So ive got 3 capsules, all said to be 100mg of mdma

My question is this, Can you weigh a capsule on a scale and assume its accurate? How much difference does the actual gel cap make? The reason i ask is because i weighed all 3 of my caps (including the one that i used a bit to test) and they all weigh out .1 I find this odd as i used a bit of product to test one of the caps, and it weighed the same.

Thoughts? Ive never really weighed out molly before so not sure if weighing with the capsule is a no-no or not.
 
What kind of scales do you have?
Ive used a cheaper set, that were 0.01g - 100g
They cant tell accurate measurements really.
They basically can tell you what stuff weighs in 50mg increments id safely say.

Then you get the 0.001 - 20g scale variety, much more accurate. Excellent for weighing the likes of mdma.

Another thing to keep in mind is that Gel Cap size could vary, thus changing the weight a variable amount.

If i did that on the cheaper scales id used, yes id probably have the same result as you. To the cheaper .1 scales (and 0.01 scales id say too) they cant really tell the difference properly and give you back pure results.


I think the safest way to weigh out your caps is obviously to buy a more expensive set of scales, but id say weighing the powder (not in the gel caps) at a minimum of 100mg is your best bet.

twist the capsule open and pour out the contents onto a set of scales. 1 decimal place scales should weigh at 0.1 and 2 decimal place scales should weigh it at 0.10 i hope this helps you buddy
 
thanks for the input guys, can anyone recommend or suggest what scale I should be buying? I dont have one, i just happened to borrow one to weigh those caps. Want something very accurate.
 
Go buy some smarties. The Candy. I just read that they weigh 1.3 grams each. Crush it up and Crush up your powder and compare piles and do some math.
