guys get this shit.

So for the past year ive done oxy on and off, but id binge and then quit for a bit. But for the past 4 months or so ive done ALOTTTT of oxy. Like the most ive gone in that span without doing any is probaly like 2 days or so. But its been at least 4-5x a week. And for the past 2 months or so its been every day, like high doses. Im talkin at least 150mgs.

so of course i was expecting some pretty bad withdrawals. but im on day 6 without doing anything i really havent experienced any WD effects.

the last day i used oxy was on dec 21. On dec 24 i wasnt really feeling much WD effects but i still went and got 40mg methadone and took that.

needless to say i felt good and high. But its now dec 27 and i still havent felt many WD effects.

today im feelin kinda shitty but nothing to bad. So do you guys think im outta the clear? or do you think maybe the methadone has something to do with it? Like do you think the methadone prolonged my withdrawals even though i only took it once?

So its been about a week since my last dose so should i be in the clear or did i fuck myself over with the done?

I used to take similar doses of oxy, and about the same amount of times per week. Then I just used on the weekends, and would stop on sunday. The withdrawals wouldn't really start til thursday for me.

So you may not have gotten to the point of withdrawal when you took the methadone. However, taking the methadone just once may actually help your body wean off due to its long half life IMO. I know that 1 8mg dose of suboxone after an opiate binge helps people, so maybe its like that.

My humble advice:
Don't take no mo' damn methadone til you know one way or another, for sure!

you dont sound sound like you need much help bro, you may have gotten lucky

Yea, I don't know what knowing if you still might have some withdrawal will accomplish here, unless you were thinking about taking off from work for it, or had some big plans.

Either way, you might feel shitty for a couple of days, or you might not. And if you have some withdrawals, they won't be that bad.
