Hey everyone. Normally when the kit tests positive it is a REALLY quick color change.

it was recently used and it took an it started fizzing, then took a extra couple seconds to start reacting, but once it started it all turned green > blue/purple very quickly.

Does the speed infer purity? What does that extra few seconds mean? This was white/fluffy molly with a few tiny shards

Thank you in advance! :-)

What I mean to say is that normally the reacting is immediate. This took a few seconds of fizzing before it started reacting.

is your kit old? what kit are you using? some kits have methanol added in an attempt to slow down the reaction and make it easier to see the full spectrum of colors. your product may also be cut and that could slow down the reaction

Something that doesn't cause a reaction on the mecke (piperazines, caffeine, meth) could slow down a reaction, but it's unlikely.

The test kits can't infer anything about purity, even less than1 mg of MDMA will make a mecke go dark black. If it fizzed though, that's usually a good sign
