Question about Injecting Demerol Tabs

I have 100mg meperitab there is no waxy coating and it starts to disolve once you get in your mouth.
I was curious how you prepare it for injecting? Does it have to be cooked,pulled from a cotton ball?
How much would you inject at one time?

Preparing this sort of pill for IV cannot be conducted safely. Also, this is more an Other Drugs types question.
