Question about Hydrocodone and Oxycodone

I have taken 60 mg of Hydrocodone in the past to get me where I want. Last time I took Vicodins was about 2 months ago.

I just got a script for Oxycodone 5 / 325.

How many mg would you suggest I take to equal or slightly exceed my usual dose of 60 mg Hydrocodone?

Also will I still have a tolerance 2 months later? I was taking the Vicodins once every week / every 2 weeks for a few weeks
 
Oxycodone is about twice as strong as Hydrocodone. So if you were taking 60 mg of Hydrocodone, about 30mg of Oxycodone would be about the same.

I don't think you would have a tolerance if you were taking it that little.
 
Ur tolerance will be gone at first but will come back quickly.
I think 20mg is where u should start. You'll definitly feel nice with no Tolly. You can always pop a few more if that doesn't do it but I think 20mg will put u right where u wanna be. Oxy is much more recreational than hydro IMO, totally different "high"... Have fun and be safe ;)
 
Hmmmm, tough to explain. I mean, well ok, oxy is speedier, it seems like there's a bit of caffeine I guess whereas hydro is more like morphine and sedates u a bit more. And even an equivilant dose of oxy like say 20mg will feel much better than 50-60mg of hydro. I know some of it's personal preference but some people think hydro is almost a waste of time and money once they try oxy a few times. Its like the difference between ummmm, like say hydro and regular weed, or like codeine compared to morphine if that makes any sense.
That why I figured u should start at 20mg, oxy is just a much stronger and cleaner high IMO.

I always found hydrocodone to be speedier than oxy I always hear people say vicodin sedates you more but I find it gets me wired and ready to do anything.
All about preference as cliffy explained.
