Question about Heroin/Cheese

So a buddy of mine and I had some heroin the night of my birthday. It was in a powder form and we were insufflating multiple lines. Is this always referred to as "cheese"? Is this more dangerous than tar? If anyone could give me a better idea of what it was and some information on it, I'd be much appreciative.

Cheese usually refers to a combination of black tar heroin mixed with diphenhydramine (benadryl) most times cheese is really cheap (because its so damn impure!) i think cheese is sorta a marketing gimmick so that someone can cut the dope to shit but add the diphenhydramine to increase seation making the user think they are actually really high.
 
i dont know anything about cheese, but i have shot up tar before and it is very dark brown to black color and gooey almost.. if you put water on it ( because i injected it), it looked like fucking coffee in the syringe..

all the powder that i have ever seen has been a tan to dark brown color.. usually the lighter the brown, the more its cut.. i live on the east coast ( US) they like to use ground up vit B because it matches the color of the dope...

although there is heroin that is white. I have never seen it, but if you read around and do some research, they say that the white heroin is supposed to be pretty pure ( but like i said, i have no experience with white H)
 
It could be cheese, it could be H, it could be fentanyl, it could be a lot of different possibilities.

what color was it? did it hit harder than usual?
 
cheese is tar heroin thats been dissolved in water in a way and mixed with a pill binder. most of the people i know use generic sleep aid (Diphenhydramine HCL) which most of the time comes with a coating on it that has to be removed. SWIM likes to use the brand Nytol which is the same drug(Diphenhydramine HCL) but is a bigger pill and doesn't have a coating.

Cheese is usually yellow, unless its mozzarella, which is white
