Question about handling LSD

So I recently came into contact with a strip and it will basically be my first time tripping acid. The paper doesn't have any perforations and I'm going to be splitting it with a few friends. Can the paper be cut with a regular razor or are there any precautions I need to take? I know I've heard the oils on your skin can fuck it up, would rubber/latex gloves suffice?

gloves would be okay, but really if you're only handling it for a second, and if its Good acid, then it won't really matter. i've definitely handled hits by hand and had little-to-no decrease in potency, you just don't want to carry it around and sweat on it and shit lol. but then again, if this is less-than-impressive acid, then no amount of 'clean handling' techniques will get ya 'through to the other side'...just make sure its a good source and go ninja on it with the razor-blade :D

^Yep. Unless you're handling it for an extended period of time, gloves aren't really needed.

I've used razors and regular scissors to cut strips of acid into tabs without issue.

I have always used regular scissors. And just bare hands. Every now n then gloves. But it doesn't really matter.

I mean, shit, I just tear it off with my hands when I have perforated blotter, and it turns out fine for everyone. Plus, I get a buzz from handling a lot of it all day. ;)

First of all, welcome NotoriousROB. :)

Agreed @ all similar answers and good ones.

If nothing else, thats the end for this thread.

I recommend you check the Beginners FAQ and the Psychedelic Index, ROB. They can both be of much help to you in the future.
Links are below in my sgnature.

Like usual, since you are new I will leave the thread open for a while for you to respond to it by confirming or by asking other questions.
But before asking those other questions, please first check the FAQ and Index because we have a lot of centralized threads for discussing
a lot of these topics. The far majority of topics are already covered by pre-existing threads, but that does not mean they are not open for
further discussion! You can bump it and pick up where they left off.

Also you may PM a mod with more pertinent questions at any time.
