I take Kratom about two times a week via Gelatin Capsules. I take minimum 15 at a time so on an average week I can take 30+ Size '00' Gelatin Caps. I'm kind of concerned about the health affects of taking so many large Gelatin Capsules for a long time. Is there anything I should worry about?

Gelatin is actually good for you. It provides amino acids used for making connective tissue.

You can get vegetarian/vegan capsules. That's what I use. I don't know about any long term effects because of gelatin but I tend to avoid it as it's an animal byproduct.

empty the kratom from the capsules into a glass of juice, and mail all the empty capsules to me!

gelatin is GOOD FOR YOU. i don't know what vegetarian capsules are made of, but most of the time vegeterian is inferior anyways.

gelatin is really good for you tho, it's why i eat jello lol, and it's one of the reasons i make broths/stocks with bones/carcasses after cooking my meats :]

What exactly would you worry about?

the fact that it's an addictive opiate-receptor agonist, for starters! don't get me wrong, it's better than booting up some proper dope, but it's not like it's showing promise as a 'healthy' intoxicant (like marijuana). i'm all for having fun, and have used kratom a couple times recently myself, and probably will again soon, but let's not go and pretend it's inert or neutral on a health scale, it's still going to carry many of the problems that any opiate will (albeit at considerably lower magnitudes, but it's still an addictive drug operating via opiate receptor agonism (and other pathways that i cannot recall off top of head- same ones as yohimbe/ine, iirc, but others could elaborate on that))

[edit- does a double-take at your username.. WTF? i'm calling your parents, and i'm gonna bitch at the store that's selling you kratom :| ]
