Hello all! I just found a bottle of fentanyl and I have a few questions it says "Fentanyl Citrate 50mcg/ml in RED", then under that it says "250mcg/5ml in yellow" could somebody explain that:\, seems confusing to me. Also I've been taking Subutex for about 3-4 months around 2-4mg and Xanax daily also I know you have to wait around 3 days stopping the subs to use a real opiate or still your in mind WD. My second question is the duration of the different ROA and types for fentanyl because I've heard almost all types the duration is in minutes which kind of sucks.:( Lastly I hate needles so IV is out of the question and IM is pretty far out of the question too, don't think I got the will power to use anything involving needles and please dont say "you got fentanyl blah blah blah your an idiot if you dont IV it" so what do you think is the best thing to do with this little vial of power?:? Thanks!

PS - Just found out its only half full so how much ACTUAL fentanyl does this bottle contain, and would drinking it be ok duration wise and strength wise I know oral BIO is 33%.

50 micrograms per ml is the same as 250 micrograms in 5 ml.

Since the vial has been opened it wouldn't really be safe to IV if you don't know how long and were it was stored , also you don't know if someone added water so you can't really be sure how much there is in the solution.

I would just snort it or go sublingual. just get a small oral syringe hold your head upside down and squirt half a ml in each nostril for starters , wait up to half an hour and repeat, if you have a decent tolerance consider plugging. Drinking would be a big waste/not get you high.

im guessing there is about 2.5 x 50= 125 micrograms of fent in your bottle but it's hard to be sure right.

We can't tell you how much it contains. I'd say start with 3 ml if taken orally, and 1 or 2 ml if taken by other roas.

what does confuse you? 50mcg/ml equals 250mcg/ml...
I'd say take 1 ml if you never tried it depending on your ROA, if you want to go oral I'd say try 2ml as the BA is just 33% but I personally would start with the lowest possible to ensure that you don't have any strange reaction

If basic math is confusing to you perhaps you shouldn't be playing with narcotics that will easily snuff you out if you fuck your dosing up.

Don't take fentanyl orally. Sublingually or nasally at best. It is very hard to judge absorbtion that way, because it's broken down in the gut.

If you don't have a milligram scale to get a rough weight on the powder, there is no way to use it safely and you should just throw the thing out. You don't want to be guessing at doses here, because there is a thin line between feeling unsatisfied, feeling high, and feeling dead with fentanyl.

^Shouldn't rectal work just as well too?

Cmon now OP, I am high on PCP and have smoked alot of weed and I can still figure this out: "Fentanyl Citrate 50mcg/ml in RED" means 50mcg fentanyl per milliliter and "250mcg/5ml in yellow" simply means 5 x 50mcg=250mcg / 1ml x 5 = 5ml. That wasn't so hard was it?

If it contains 5ML it contains 250mcg fentanyl. It is 50mcg fentanyl per ml. Easy to gauge doses.

You do not need to care about subutex as it does not interfere with fentanyl.

This is why people end up dead with drugs, especially drugs like fent.

OP, why even bother when you have heard the high doesn't last but a quick flash? Is it really worth the risk? Worth going off of your subs (according to you) for 3 days to get a high that lasts for minutes? Worth taking a life or death risk when the simple calculation of dose is confusing you so much?

I would toss it.

5ml is equal to one teaspoon ( with a medicine cup, med spoon, medicine dropper etc). Household spoons may be different ( which is why pharmacies tell people only use a medicine spoon). That's probably why they list both the per ml and per 5 mls. They are really saying, "this is how much is in one medically official teaspoon" ( the yellow) and this is how much is in 1/5 of a teaspoon ( the red). The company did the math for the consumer basically. hope that might help clarify it.

I don't know if the OP is from the USA but, I would say the idea of 1/5 of a teaspoon confuses most of the general public here in the states. Although people taking meds or other substances should be better informed about the metric system than the average person here in the states
