Very good advice.I'd advise eating before you go to sleep. You get to sleep easier with something in your stomach and you won't feel quite as shit when you wake up.
@lettuce: infinite jest?
Yeah i just munched on some Macaroon chocolates, my stomach feels alot better, thankyou.
And if anyone could let me know if theres a way to tell if you got an abscess or infection from IVing, I dont really think I have either, but i'd like to know the signs anyways. Like would it be immediately noticeable or would it slowly get worse.. etc Or is their even a way to tell? Either way all input is welcome
rigs are incredibly cheap and totally free in some places...
Don't reuse!
^ exactly! Look up needle exchanges in your area. It also pays to know the local laws.
Ill keep you posted on my arm, it hasn't gotten any better but i'm sure its becasue it needs sleep to heal... Well that's what i'm telling myself.
Apply hot compresses to the sites a few times a day and apply a thin layer of antibiotic, vitamin E, other healing cream or scar gel. Don't use any of those sites for a while. Monitor them for infection. Hot compresses can decrease your risk of infection and help with healing. In the future, be prepared and have fresh rigs on hand! Not only is it VERY worth it to avoid destroying your veins, but you will be able to hit MUCH easier with a fresh needle.
I don't recommend trying to sharpen them, it's hard to do it properly and can leave tiny shards of metal on the needle, or actually make it rougher. There are plenty of other effective routes of administration instead of injection when you don't have proper supplies, especially for meth.
