Question about diphenhydramine.

It will be my first time on diphenhydramine shortly... I have read various trip reports, but all seem to be of quite high doses (at least 400mg).

I shall be taking 200 - 300mg (most likely 225mg or 250mg, although strongly considering 200mg, or even 150-175mg), so I was wondering, will I have recreational effects at that dosage, if so, to what intensity?

diphenhydramine used to get high is almost never any fun and can be dangerous. its a delieriant at high doses so people can wake up or come to without any recollection of their experience and discover that they have done regrettable or dangerous things. please be careful. my advice is to leave diphenhydramine alone as a recreational drug. its best use is for allergies, itching, or insomnia at regular doses.

individuals vary in their response. i believe even 200mg is potentially dangerous.

lot of needless danger to risk to get a high from Benadryl...not worth it at all...know people that hav edoen it and were regreting it afterwards..like someone smoking crack for the first time..seems great til lyou run out and have blown a lotta money..then you are fiending out and are broke...usually how it goes from what i have seen ...lol....smoke a joint..safe and you get high..not all out of it..benadrl is no fun ...smoke weed,or anything...its not worth the time and potential risk...

I agree will a small amount of this drug is fabulous if you are at sea or something but the recreational stories are a farce. If you curious about near death experiences this is not the best one to try. Simply put I use 25 to 50 mg to help with nausea when using opiates, the same goes with benzos but I would never tell anyone to go beyond that, you are looking at a nightmare with this.

On the flip side this and other H blockers are legitimate life savers that have a very unique place that does not overlap the realm of recreation. Just my thoughts. Good luck out there.

Gross. On accident when I was 16 I took a whole lot to see if I could get a buzz before getting some nice sleep. NOT WHAT HAPPENED! I became so paranoid and delirious with such unpleasant hallucinations, things nobody should have to see! Sort of like being awake during a nightmare and you can't get back to sleep...
