Question about Concerta Dosing

I've done quite a bit of searching about various amphetamines on the forum so I apologize if this is skirting any rules or if I should have found this information elsewhere.

With that said, I'm basically amphetamine naive (excluding some recent 10 mg generic Adderalls) and so I have no tolerance to speak of. Would I expect any serious negative reactions (excluding the given idiosyncratic responses a specific individual might have) by taking a 36 mg dose of Concerta? I'm assuming that I should be fine since I know only about 20% of that is instant release and the rest is time-released but I figured it wouldn't hurt to verify that. 5' 10", 130 lbs

No, you should be fine. Concerta is complete shit in my opinion. Addys are much better, euphoric, speedy, happy, energized etc. But anyway yes you will be fine, to me 36mgs of Concerta felt like drinking a couple cups of coffee with a shitty ass jittery comedown. But that's just my opinion

Thanks for the response and the information. I've read similar opinions about Concerta and I have a feeling I will probably prefer the Addys myself but availability is an issue currently and so wanted to check.

You should be fine. No worries. But, it likely won't be as pleasant as Adderall, just so you know. The best is the onset and the first couple hours IMO.
