Question about Benzos..

I've been taking 2mg of Klonopin per day for a few months now.. and just recently took a few 2mg Xanax's. Didn't feel a thing. Is Klonopin really THAT bad about raising your tolerance?

if you have been taking 2mg a day for a few months its hard to tell what it would take to get a buzz,tolerance BUILDS VERY QUICKLY WITH BENZOS!!

actually I was under the impression that tolerance for benzos is actually rather slowly built when they are taken at constant doses. Regardless, several months will certainly build you a tolerance and Klonopin is twice as strong as Xanax. So you were taking equivalent of 4mg Xanax a day...except probably more b/c the long half life of the klonopin means it can build up slightly.
In short your few 2mgs Xanax's probably were just about your usual daily dose of klonopin...to which you are certainly tolerant...or at least used to.

I thought Xanax was stronger then Klonopin?
Like 2mgs of Klonopin=1mg of Xanax except the duration of effects for Kpins is like 8 hours or whatever.

XANAX -stronger-short acting
klonopin-the high BUILDS up over a couple hours and lasts for a-while(at least it does for me)
(BENZO TOLERANCE BUILDS VERY QUICKLY)
