I hope I'm placing this in the right forum. I normally just answer questions but this question has been hounding me for a while and I'd like to hear what you guys say concerning it. Here it is; Say if I was to fly a bunch of states over, say to Vegas, with a couple stops in between and wanted to carry pills with me. If I put them in a small bag and shoved them up my ass, would airport security or screening spot this and stop me for a more intimate search? I've always wondered this especially post 9/11. I hope I don't violate any rules by asking this.

I carry multiple pill bottles every time I fly. Just keep them in a pill bottles and place them inside a quart sized zip lock sandwich bag. The security guards never have said a word. If you try to hide them of course they will bust you. It is not illegal to travel with medications. Any chance you have an old prescription bottle for the drug you wish to travel with? If not I have slipped pills in any prescription bottle with my name on it. They have never questioned anything in years of travels.

I'm thinking OP is asking about non-prescribed pills.

We have a tv show over here called " Border Security". Makes me very nervous about travelling with my prescription meds, let alone street pills & shoving them into a body oriface..

If it's possible, crush whatever you have and put it into a water solution (administer it later orally or however you wish via measuring using a syringe from the grocery store).

Make sure it's under 2oz. and you're good to go. Just put it in a bottle and label it as something you'd normally travel with that's a liquid. Contact solution would work great - they even sell them in small sizes for the plane I believe.

This would probably be my way of traveling with any type of drug - simply because you'd not only have to check the liquid, but even then you may not be able to tell by smell - depends on what it is. Something like cocaine might be easier to smell than say some crushed up morphine tablets or something similar.
