Question about a test being done by my doctor concerning my medicines. Need advice.

wanted to know why my doctor would order a blood drug test listing all my narcotics i am on instead of regular urine tests. Perhaps the lab I go to only does blood tests not urine drug tests? Or checking my levels? Appointments tomorrow, nervous. ANY suggestions would help.

your doctor would have to have you sign a consent to drug test unless you have to drug test by court of law. On a side note if you are trying to get healthier emotionaly and physically doing drugs is just shooting yourself in the foot

Urine only gives a yes or no. Blood tests will tell the exact levels - whether it's too little, maybe you've been selling your pills, or too much means you've been taking extra. True, you would have to consent, but if you don't consent you won't get any more scripts.
