Just like the title says I would like to know of any good sources of information on the chemistry and physiological effects of LSD and similar entheogens. Unbiased, medical journals, PDFs, ect. Thought this would be the best way to seek the information I was looking for. No erowid trip reports or the like please.

Really, searching would be the best method. Look for writings by David Nichols, he is probably the eminent psychedelic researcher at the moment.

Dr. Shulgin's profile of LSD featured in TIHKAL is available online here. That's a pretty good place to start.
Also, utilize the google scholar application on google. It's a good point to jump off from as well. If you want to check out some of David Nichols' work, a search for "David E. Nichols LSD" offers 1,200 results.

Doesn't Erowid have a database of research abstracts and Full Texts archived on their site? I'd look for that and check that out.
Here you go: It's called the "Hofmann library collection", and it's got TONS (4000+) of LSD and Psilocybin related articles published in scholarly journals.

I'm not sure I understand exactly what you're looking for, but I'll try to help.
Nichols' review is by far the best primer for learning about the neuropharmacolgy and physiology of psychedelic action if you have even minimal background in the subjects. If not, wiki is your friend.

I hope you can access these articles, although you might be able to find the first with a search. Be more specific if this isn't what you are looking for.
