Is anyone else going? This will be my first splendour (and probably the last, given the exorbitant ticket prices), but I'm looking forward to it. My sister and I are road-tripping up from Sydney

We'll be there. What day are you setting up camp Kat?

It has been decided that it will be Michael Jackson Friday in our camp with plenty of grooves being played on that night (and the fact MJ Day this year was disrupted by the kids). Only shit thing is Kayne and DJ Shadow being scheduled at the same time.

Gomez, modest mouse and Janes Addiction are the only acts I really must see. The rest of the time I am happy to wander aimlessly and soak in any unexpected sights and sounds. Woodfordia is a beautiful site but I have only been there for Woodford festivals. The only guarantee will be that it will be fucking cold at night. Don't get lulled into thinking that the awesome warm qld winter days continues once the sun sets. I hope the new car passes make arriving a little more seamless that last year but to be honest once we have our camp set up I'm in holiday mode for 5 days any way.
