Pyridine in Australia

Does anyone in Australia actually know what the deal is with pyridine for the homebake? Has anyone recently obtained it?

It's listed as a Class I precursor in the chemical industry; meaning that it is for sale only to account customers, an End User Declaration must be filled out with each purchase and records kept and made available to the police.

I imagine it's fairly hard to obtain, but it can be synthesized though this is somewhat difficult and would be above an amateur chemist.

I fucking hate this country. Everything is proscribed. I swear customs would give an old lady the beat down to seize her walking stick and prevent danger coming in the way of some endangered fucking grasshopper

To be fair though, pyridine has the potential to be fairly harmful. It is not recognized as a carcinogen, but it can be toxic and has a very low flashpoint. It's definitely something you should be careful with should you obtain it.
