I am a lover of altered states of consciousness who regularly uses stimulants, breathing, euphoriants, sedatives, fasting, opiates, hypnotics, sleep deprivation, dissosiatives, anxiolytics, prayer, and psychedelics to explore (from every angle and state of consciousness) the endless complexities of reality and consciousness.
I am a long time lurker who has finally succumb to membership in an attempt to quantify the severity of my insomnia by comparing experiences with other user. I hope to extend and receive encouragement and advice on living with hardcore insomnia.

Thank-you for the personalized welcome. You saying hello goes a long way in making me feel welcome. So far I have been a lone (active) psychonaut in my journey. My cousin is an experienced recreational substance user who became a psychonaut in his mid 20's but now in his mid 30's and married with kids he has seriously curtailed his entheogen consumption. He is very understanding to the fact that the world of psychoactives is novel and wonderous to me (and in need of some heavy exploration) but substances of use (and yes I almost exclusively use but I'll admit I occasionally abuse) are no longer part of his active day-to-day thoughts. He is up for the occasional conversation about drugs and we have tripped together, and in the near future plan to roll together, but he is my only confidant when it comes to my psychonautic ideas and exploits and I seem to bring it up slightly more often then he desires (which is really only a fraction of the discussions I wish we could have). I am excited to become a part of a community that respects and appreciates psychoactives for the wonderful, beautiful, and dangerous things they are.
