'puter woes

Having an issue with my PC, I have a NVMe boot hard drive, and two SSD's for storage. Trouble is, I can only see the SSD's if I go into the BIOS, then boot into Windows, then the SSD's show up. If I reboot and don't access the BIOS, the SSD's do not show up, not even in device manager until I go back into the BIOS. It's bugging the life out of me, and I've gone through all the BIOS settings, and everything looks correct, pulling what's left of my hair out over this. Anyone have any clues? Thanks

what sort of SSD is it?

i remember something similar but on a Mac and it turned out to be a driver issue so check they are up to date.

All sorted (hopefully!) changed from AHCI to Auto, and all is well.
