Ok I the test turned orange but had swirls of purple in it. Does that mean its speed and ecstasy? I'm confused....

ok the first time i tested it in the cap and it turned purple after 5 seconds. Then someone from the same area I'm in bought the same pill that night and ate it and said he rolled for 2 or 3 hours but still felt sober. But after that his body hurt and he was stumbling around. So I tested it again on a white plate and it turned brownish orange and purple swirls were forming in it. I dont understand cuz that guy had to have the same pill but he thought he was rolling...this is such a painin the ass.

Hi Dream_of_XTC,
I agree, it is a 'pain in the arse' all this testing stuff. Especially since we don't synthesize the chemicals under test ourselves, so much of it is can only be 'indicative', rather than a 'substantial proof' test.
A few points to start with: you cannot be 100% SURE that the pill you bought was identical to your friends. Unless you held them both in your hand, how could you possibly know? Different types of Green Apples/Apple Macs (for example) have been reported to be 'the same' pills by many people in the same geographical area, yet when you dig a little deeper, you find that some of the logos were an apple with a bite out, while others were an apple as a core only (check the AUS section of www.pillreports.com to see what I mean).
I could go on about how quality varies in the SAME BATCH of pills too, but we'll leave that for another time, eh?
Regardless of this fact, the EZ Test reaction WAS telling you something. The first time you did the test, you received a strong purple reaction, if I understand correctly? Then for THAT pill you personally held in your hand, you probably had a pill with some MDxx content present. Full stop.
Now, the second test. Orange colour with purple swirls? We have seen this when we mixed MDMA powder with some near-pure speed. The reaction was straight to orange (strong red/orange colour of course), then an eventual turn (over 7-10 seconds) to a purple colour as the strong MDMA reaction turned the solution (orange/red + dark purple = darkish purple). This was done with two near pure and even quantities of both substances though, so your reaction MAY be an indication of substances such as ours, or it may not. (Damn 'indicative' tests!!)
I would have to recommend NOT touching the second pill. The reaction was not 'indicative' enough to trust the possibility that it was a pill that had both an amphetamine AND MDxx substance present. However, the first one looked good (good enough to eat anyway!).
When the second generation of testers hit the market, perhaps we can be a little more certain in this area....that's the hope anyway.
