Purifying rock speed

I've read a couple purification methods and im more or less just waiting to get enough rock speed to purify it. But i've got 2 questions.

Is the same method used whether it's the rock or the crystal?

And once i had this white rock that was actually clean. No smell, no moisture and no come down.

So i was hoping i could just purify my rock to that point even if im left with not much and i lose some. At least im trying to reduce some of the harm it causes to me. Realistically could i purify it to where its at that stage?

Crystal Speed should be pure as it is, but you never can tell. In which case there is little to no difference in purifying each "form" of it.

And yes, purification is just getting it to it's purest form, so you may lose some weight but no actual product
