Cocaine Purifying Cocaine

Hi Everyone!

Really glad that I found this site :D

Read the entirety of the purifying mega-thread. Unexpectedly late night ha!

However, I didn't recall reading whether the simple acetone wash will rid what I buy of caffeine. Any answers?

I'm from the UK and other common adulterants are a blood pressure med (Diltiazem (hydrochloride?)), a antihistimine (Hydroxyzine (dihydrochloride?)) and a painkiller (Phenacetin); aside from the usual caines.

Can any experienced users speculate how the acetone wash will fair with them or would an A/B extraction be a better course of action?

Acid /Base exraction would be better IMO, if your coke is cut with all that shit..plus I hear from friends in the UK that the coke is very low puirty wise, like 10-20% pure at gram amounts, although they might be wrong, the coke I get here in the US is 70%+ pure, but I have a good connection/connections, and coke under 60% here will get a dealer beaten up and/or he will go out of business really quickly..

Well I'm not exactly sure what cuts are used. According to the government, they're the most common with regard to custom's seizures. Travel down the chain and benzocaine is the number one used.

I don't particularly purchase in large amounts, but as I know my suppliers well they give what they get before they cut it with benzocaine. If you purchase it afterwards you're getting less than 10%. I would say between 5-7% knowing how much they cut it! They say its probably 35-40% beforehand.

I would have guessed the main adulterants are definitely caffeine (which the government agress with) and maybe ephedrine (/amphetimines) based on user experience -generally feeling edgy and uncomfortable once the night sets in!

So I'm going to do a bleach test test for ephedrine and amphetimines. Is that correct and look for an orange residue?

If that's the case I would proceed with a chloform extraction + acetone + ether washes as I feel very comfortable performing those!

But still would the acetone wash remove the caffeine anyone??

But I think I will still do some more reading on the A/B extraction and see if I can gain the confidence to do it ha!!!

I hear there is amazing coke over there but it is extremely expensive. The majority of the shit is cut to hell though.

I would look for better stuff. There is loads of 60% around for good prices and always some 80% for little bit more. the low % stuff 5 - 20% goes for just under the 60% price and is really shit. Basically if you get less than an eighth you will get crap but just talk to a few people and find the real stuff to make it worth the money :D

Well I guess what's available to you depends on your location and perhaps you're more fortunate than I am.

Where I live, the guys at street level generally buy in ounces (35-40% ) then bash with benzocaine, adding anywhere from 4-6 ounces to then re-sell in ounces and less. So buying eights from them is pointless, but they do let me buy untouched grams.

If I went to the guys above them who sell them ounces, the miminum I would have to buy is an ounce (£1500-1800 depending) and it would be the same as the grams I'm buying anyway.

If I went to the guys above them, I can only imagine what amounts and at what price I would have to pay to get the 80% stuff ha!

So at that point it would be become a who you know scenario or clean the 35-40% stuff yourself to try and get that desired 80%+.

Not really an option where I am...

So still left wondering whether the bleach test is the most readily available test for ephedrin and ampethimines?

And whether an acetone wash will get rid of caffeine?

Caffeine is pretty soluble in acetone. I don't have the exact figure but I used it as the solvent in the extraction of tea leaves back in high school.

Is the consensus still that it would be extremely complicated/near impossible to remove any of the 'caines' from the mixture or does anybody have a viable method??
