Purifying BTH

I know it is not possible to turn black tar heroin into China white, but surely there are methods to clean it upa bit so it can be injected without causing collapsed vein, infection, and the like, right? Currently I do not IV because the only heroin available where I live is black tar that has obviously been cut. I don't know what it's cut with, but dissolving it in cold water instead of hot seems to clear it up a little.

Does anyone know any more advanced techniques that might render a product that is at least as good as it was before it was stepped on by greedy dealers? Any input would be appreciated.

*edit* Le Junk has a popular thread on purifying cocaine. I'm kind of hoping we can create a resource like that for heroin users.

There is a procedure listed on heroin helper. I have no personal experience using it, but many have.

Search out better dealers. I IV'd tar for a couple years without collapsing a vein. Read the IV megathread in its entirety, its saved many lives.

You are more of a cause to collapsed veins...

But simply put the BTH in water first and de-fat it... with paraffin(wax)

Put the heroin in water solution

Put in the wax... as much as you need really...

heat till the wax is melted.

Shake vigorously...

let it cool...

remove solidified wax.

put water heroin solution on a warm plate to dry...

Dry this out and viola, you have purer BTH powder...

This procedure will take all the oils and fats out of the tar...

When you dry it it will be more potent and no more gunk.

Eh I don't know about that man a micron filter and bth doesn't sound like a good idea to me although I only do China white (fuck tar I'd rather take bupe than tar) I could imagine putting some of the tar around certain places through a micron filter would clog the shit out of it while your trying to push the plunger through with all that sticky coca cola crap in it.

I always used a wheel filter on all my shots... and all I ever had access ( due to where I live ) is BTH. Wheel filters work absolutely GREAT for filtering black tar...I wouldn't put tar in my veins unless its been through a wheel filter , atleast once..

Wheel filters will remove nearly literally all solids, and even some bacteria,,, come on NO ONE should be slammin' any sor of tar up their veins.. MICRON FILTER PEOPLE, its fuckn' EZ..and leaves you with a beautiful CLEAN, CYRSTAL CLEAR, amber solution %)

What you guys fail to realize is that wheel filters do not remove the gunkiness of the bth.

The very thing that makes BTH "tar" is fats and oils... Essentially, stuff that couldn't get filtered out by highly rigged methods of manufacture.

The method I provided can be used in all sized batches. Removing more oils from a shot before micron filtering, why not?

Like my dad used to say, wish in one hand and shit in the other and see which one fills up faster. But I'm with you. Truly, I wish we could just get east coast quality powder so we didn't have to fuck with tar at all. But honestly, who buys nasty stinky tar in bulk to sell it and then thinks "I'll just mix some coca cola and molasses in with this and then I can make even more money!?" I've gotten bags that were cut so many times there was barely any smack left. Not to mention the time I bought a chunk of Oreo cookie for forty bucks. Now I look at it a lot closer before I hand over any cash.
