Cocaine purification questions

im new to this fourm i joined after reading about the acetone wash and started to try the tests out my self. i live south of most of you and was thinking my results would be really good, and it turned out to be true. but i have been fuckin around with some of the cleaning techniqus for coc"$##%$ and i think that i found something new. when i was doing a test i ended up with a powder substance when trying to make freebase via the ammonia freebase method. i have done this a couple times and got good results but this last time i think i had some muratic acid left in the beaker that i had the ammonia in. i know this cuz i seen a small vapour cloud or smoke form when i added the ammonia. then when i added it to the water to start the freebase the water went all cloudy like normal then a bunch of very small crystals started to fourm. then i drained it and got back a very shiny powder. i let it dry and had a friend snort it and it is the best shit he ever tried (we live south of the border so we kinda got a good sence of whats hot an whats not). now when i add it to water it stays in crystal fourm at the bottom of the water, but when i add it to acetone it desolves into nothing. It is almost like a consintrated hcl coc#$% i am not new i have tried all the test and got back good results. never having any problems. the powder is very very fine and is very shiny. is there any one out there that has got back results like this? any feed back would be appreciated. you guys are a fountin of information.

ok thanks for the info. has no one else done this? i did it again and got the same results. i am in south amarica so i kinda know whats good. i had another friend try this and he says again its the best shit they have seen. but i dont undersatnd what it is becasue when in water it stays as a crystal and when in acetone it desolves. any info would be awsome. i have no chemistry background and was just trying this for fun. thanks

With regards to your experiment, if your product does not dissolve in water, then it's definitely not cocaine hcl. It's most likely cocaine base. Why not cocaine hcl? Because cocaine hcl dissolves on contact with water. The purer the cocaine hcl, the quicker it will dissolve. But cocaine freebase is insoluble in water. Cocaine hcl is insoluble in acetone. Cocaine base is soluble in acetone. You guys are either snorting cocaine freebase or a cut that is soluble in acetone and not in water. Hope this helps.

I have a cocaine solubility somewhere. I'll try and attach it if I find it.

ok thanks for the info. i studied all the past threads about this stuff and have a good understanding of whats going on. the only thing that i dont understand is that after soaking it in water and adding the ammonia with couple drops of muratic acid i get back a very fine powder very very fine with lots of shine. 1 gram looks like 2 or 3 the size seems to double but with less weight. i had people try a couple gs last night and they say it is the best they have seen. there must be something up i have done this 5 times now and get back the same results. if it is a freebase then why dont it burn when people snort it? why is it such a fine powder with out me breaking it up at all? and finally why are people getting so high from snorting it if it is freebase. is there a book that i can order online about the chemical propertys? i would like to have more info. thanks guys for the replys i cant believe how much info is on the net you guys rock this fourm is the shit!

You can always change the form from hcl to base, I'm sure its possible but probably not that easy to go from base to hcl.

k i went back over everything and there were some things i left out. i think its more because of the amount and how fast i added the ammonia. mybe the muratic acid that i had been adding made it turn out something like a HCL POWDER but it deffinitly is not as i said befor it looks more fluffy and stay solid in water but desolves in acetone. i think they call this type of freebase wash or here its lavado people snort it.. after checking things over again i followed the steps to turn it back into hcl aND it worked fine. some how it is a snortable freebase that is really good. difffert but good. more light after being washed in water maybe it is more clean. i challenge anyone to try and get the same resultas i have done this several times and have gotting back the same results every time.

Yes, that was DEFINITELY a typo. I've corrected the original post. Okay, here you go:

cocaine hcl dissolves in water
cocaine base does not dissolve in water

cocaine hcl does not dissolve in acetone
cocaine base dissolves in acetone

myshit, you're doing the whole conversion from base to hcl incorrect from the get go. You should be dissolving the cocaine hcl in water and then adding diluted ammonia to precipitate the base (no muriatic acid should be added at this stage). You should then filter the base from the ammonia/water and then rinse with additional water.

Let the base dry completely overnight. Then dissolve the base in acetone, add a mixture of muriatic acid, acetone and methanol to the acetone/dissolved freebase. HCL will precipitate out of the mixture with light stirring. Full crystallization will take place over the next hour or so.

If you're familiar with anhydrous diethyl ether, then you can crystallize within 5 seconds by dissolving the base in ether. Add a mixture of acetone/muriatic acid to the ether/freebase and BAM!!!...full crystallization.

So far you're doing the whole process incorrectly.

ok when trying to make freebase i follow the directions givin in past threads, i always get back great results. who ever wrote them is a jedi master. but when i was fuckin around i did it like i metioned in my first post. and got back a very fine bright powder full of crystals, i have had several people try it. they all love it i added some color and called it pink floyd as a joke but people think its real. when they snort it there is no burn no numing nothing but a strong mellow high. the powder is so light its like your snorting nothing. the only thing left is for me to come out of retirement and try it myself. it is possible that this is a cut that is freebaseing faster then the cocain but i have completed all the purification test befor i started. is there any one that knows how to make the hcl more potient by adding chemicals i had a friend who said this was possible but befor i could get all the info he vanished. proble cuz he had something wort vanishing for. he said it would increase amount that your receptors could take in at once. but i dont know for sure. i live in an area where i can get all chemicals from a pharmacy if there is any one with some cool tricks they want to share please do. or if anyone want to try something they are unable tell me and i will do it and post some pictures of how it turns out.

Again, why are you adding muriatic acid to the ammonia/water/cocaine mix? I can tell you right now that your end resulting crystalline powder is not cocaine hcl. Probably cocaine base or one of a million other bases or non-water soluble hcl's.

k i did it again and i am getting a powder form of freebase that is snortable. i was adding muratic acid to see what the results would be. and came up with this freebase powder. that you can snort and has no burn or anything else just a soft feeling then a really good mellow high. i think that it has more to do with the way i am adding the ammonia. when i want a rock hard freebase i follow the steps exactly and add the ammonia 1 drop and wait the two minutes. and it works great. but when i added it faster and had more water i came up with the freebase powder. i know its not any other type of freebase because i have completed all of the washing steps prior to what i am talking about now. my problem might also be i think i have 100% ammonia and i dont know the % of the muratic acid. i was told they are both 100% but am not sure. now i have turned this powder back into hcl by following the steps but i am getting different results. i just tried it again but when i added 1 grm of the powder freebase to 20 mls acetone and then 8 drops of muratic acid i got nothing. i know it needs to be completely dry but how important is the that? the powder looks and feels dry but could still be wet. is this possible why im getting nothing back when i add it to the acetone and the 8 drops of muratic acid? i know there is proble been 1,000,000 people asking questions about these processes i dont mean to be a pain in the ass. im just looking for more info and seems like this is the only place to find it. also what is the best way to get back the most freebase as possible when adding the cocain to water. i seem to be losing more then i should and i think it is more becasue of my lack of experience then any thing else. if i am using more water and product and dont know the % that the ammonia is what would be the best ratios for me to work with? my water levels are around 300 ml do it matter how much cocain is in the water? and how much water i am using.. also when converting back to hcl if i am using more product do i just add 20 mls for every grm and 8 more drops of muratic acid? and how would i change the water and ammonia ratios if i was using more product and water?

Your freebase MUST be completely bone dry before adding it to the acetone. NO EXCEPTION! Otherwise, your recrystallization will fail. You haven't lost your cocaine though because you can simply evaporate off the acetone and start over. Do you have access to methanol or anhydrous diethyl ether?

yes ether ,we always used ether and a bit of alcohol and then added ammonia drop by drop till no more substance was produced,then filtered and we added concentrated Hydrocloric acid to the mix to turn the freebase we had made back into the Hcl powder,We did all this to purify the Hcl powder we had and not to smoke the base.This may not be enough info but we used "raw" aka anhydrous ether instead of water ,and ethanol also,adding ammonia with an eyedropper...filtered out the imouritys,,put the base in a solution of ether agian and added Hcl acid slowly till we got product ...aka cocaine Hcl

yes i have easy access to any chemical. they are all sold with out problems here. in the end i never lost any thing when i was going to throw away the acetone with the freebase powder that had not crystalized i put it in a big beaker with JUST water and something happined the crystals formed in the water for some reason. i drained it and am still waiting for it to dry. Lejunk could you help me with my ratios. i would like to use more water like 1000mls but i dont know the ratios. evrything else i have been doing was just experiments off what i read in your psots. if i follow your direction by the book they turn out perfect everytime. but i need to understand the ratios better.
