Heroin pure heroin

I have seen a video i dont remember what it was on but it was showing kilograms of heroin busted coming across the mexico border...well when they did a field test on the stuff it was actually a brown powder...so is this the pure form before it gets turned into tar..?

Tar is the most basic, un-refined form of heroin you can get. If it was brown powder it was probably better quality. There are also factors such as adulterants that are used to cut the heroin and make more of a profit.

No, the two types are processed different. Black tar isn't very refined and is a lot like opium because incomplete acetylation of morphine, but is still a type of Heroin (I've yet to try, but would love to...). The brown powder sounds like it must have been cut down or was a more refined form of Heroin. that makes alot of sense because ive been wondering lately how they can be so different the powder vs. the tar...heroin tar or powder is the only shit that i dont understand..why does all the tar stay in the south and west while the east gets the powder

I don't know much about tar, but I beleive it comes from Mexico where they have easy access to the chemicals and equipment needed to refine it to tar. In the East it may be imported from the golden triangle where it's generally refined to powder.

I've seen 2 different types (at least) of Mexican powder:

A) Air contact (out of the bag) turns it to tar nearly instantly.
B) It doesn't

Honestly?
I'd rather smoke tar forever, instead of shooting up more refined scag. More drugs for the price of one.

No, tar is a form of heroin made from morphine that wasn't purely refined, and it also isn't cleaned up as much as SEA, SA, and SWA heroin.

The mexicans have put out powdered herion before, and that's probably what that is. I'm not sure why they didn't keep that up and why the switched to tar... It's probably an easier/cheaper product for them to make, and hell, it sells, right? There has been speculation for years that the switch to Mexican powder will come, but that's probably not gonna happen as long as SA heroin is still meeting demand.

Pure heroin hydrochloride or acetate is a white odorless powder, like most other opium alkaloids. The light brown powder is likely 80-90% pure and derived from opium - the impurities are probably other alkaloids (codeine etc) and oxidisation products.
