Pure dxm legality in us?

Hey, so a cpouple years back I found a website selling dxm for 300$ per 100 grams. Now I can’t find any anywhere, but I have found old news from like 2009 saying its illegal, is it still illegal?

As far as I know DXM powder is still legal in the USA if you are over 18 years old.

There may be a legal technicality with actually consuming it, but possession of the powder isn't a crime federally, although it's possible some states may have bans.

We can't source here, but I've seen it advertised for sale not too long ago.
