I live in California and I was heavily over prescribed OxyContin from the ages of 15-22 y/o which led to a devastating opiate addiction and I was told I still can file a lawsuit against Purdue/or The Sackler Family before the deadline which is in less than a week(they extended it one more time I read) I cannot seem to find any law firms in California who are taking cases or submitting claimants who are entitled compensation anywhere! Any advice or help to point me in the right direction would be very much appreciated! Thanks Y’all!

I'm not really aware of how this is supposed to work. I've been hearing about this lawsuit for a long time. It's my belief that there are far too many people making claims and not enough penalty money available to make it seriously worth a person's time to get involved. I'm not going to dissuade you, as I truthfully do not know. However, this isn't specifically a Harm Reduction issue I.e. relevant to a person's imminent safety, so we would have to file it in a different sub-forum. Good luck with everything.
