Pupils on LSD.

Ok, so since about a week ago when I tripped for the first time, I've had a question concerning pupils.. Mind you, I was on a good one so that might explain it but At a few points during the very intense part of the trip I managed to look at myself in a mirror. Strange to say the least, but anyways, I looked at my eyes and thought I saw my pupils dilating and constricting over and over again... Is it possible for that to happen? Has anyone else seen this before? Is that maybe what causes the visuals? Sorry if this sounds dumb, I'm just curious.

I usually avoid mirrors when im tripping, but i recall it happening to me on a nasty cocktail of amps, mdsomething, 2c-i and piperazines. Although its best not to trust ones judgment at times like that, i think it can happen as people have told me my eyes are doing it when i ask if i look messy.

Id be interested to know if it is a common thing/actually happens as well
 
I guess the constant dilation and constriction could be what causes movement in vision and prevents you from keeping your eyes locked onto small objects, such as looking at the number "1" on your mobiles number pad.
 
It happens to me all the time. Sometimes it makes it really hard to do things like read.
 
We let one of my friends (a kinda goofy kid mind you) try DMT with us.

He took 1 hit, and his right pupil started to dilate, he took his second hit and his left pupil started to dilate, though not as much as the right one.

He took the 3rd hit, and his left eye dilated until almost no visible iris, and his eyes went the opposite of crossed. He was looking up and to the left with his left eye, and down and to the right with his right eye....

Fucking hillarious.

Needless to say, he had a good time.

anyway yeah my friend always tells me whenever we do anything that causes pupil dilation (amphetamines, dxm, k2) that one of my pupils is always larger than the other, but on k2 one time i looked in the mirror and my eyes looked COMPLETELY bloodshot, almost entirely red, and my pupils looked like saucers, but my friend said my eyes weren't bloodshot, so there's definitely an element of seeing things if you're on something that could cause visual distortions.
 
I find that on any reasonably strong psychedelic dose, whilst tripping anyone I look at one pupil is larger than the other.
 
Ok am I to understand that your pupils actually do dilate and contract constantly?
 
Mine do some times. I can feel it happen and it makes it hard to focus on things. I don't know why it happens, it's never worried me.

Well I'm not worried about it. I was just curious because that's never happened to me before.
 
it used to happen to me on huge amounts of cannabis and speed that one pupil would be dilated and the other one constricted and they would alternate. never had it since but it was really strange and my health (physical and mental) was in poor shape due to my speed addiction...
