pupil size on heroin vs other strong opioids

obviously my pupils shrink to pinppoints on strong opioids such as oxycodone and hydromorphone, but the (first and last) time I did heroin after a few days H binge it actually seemed as though I had lost some of my eyesight... I panicked and thought it was some weird cut that had damaged my eyes... then i realized that my pupils had just shrunk so much my eyesight was noticeably affected. anyone else notice this on heroin (but not on the other strong opioids I mentioned), or was this effect perhaps a cut of some sort?

my eyesight went back to normal some amount of time after the drugs wore of, of course. im just curious about this effect.

opiates that make my pupils pinpoint first of all i have to take enough where im nodding (rarely happens, i lost that magic once i did heroin, only used it for the relief and not be sick) but enough atleast where im itching alot, nauseous, classic symptoms. mostly methadone, heroin, and morphine make me pin point, hydrocodon, oxycodone dont do it for me. im on suboxone, so i can eat 20 lortab 10's and be high for an hour thats it and a stomach ache. i can shoot 160mg oxycodone and feel a decent rush and then the whole high is gone in an hour, even days off of suboxone. THANK YOU suboxone for making my opiate joy crappy, it saved my life..i honestly dont enjoy opiate effects, just methadone i like, im a suboxone guy, i been clean off ofheroin 2yrs now since i been on suboxone. i however love methadone tho, only exception. ok out the 2 yrs i stopped dope, i did it couple times, was lame, woke up next morning, in extreme intense withdrawl, i was in shock im used to the ugly suboxone W/D

btw: i also enjoy MSCONTIN orally in addition with methadone, other then that i lost my touch to opiates, and proud

congrats on being clean for 2 years off heroin though :)
 
its common to have blurred vision when real high on opiates :-) i used to work as a cashier at a gas station, after i would shoot a load of dope in the bathroom, i could hardly read the cash register, i would have to squint my eyes, all normal ;-) sorry i have a tendency to read posts and go off topic.
 
I've had this happen to me on Pods and Heroin, I remember panicking until I looked in the mirror and realized how small my pupils were. It still happens occasionally when I take a larger than normal dose of Suboxone.

I do remember very vividly the first time it happened, I was on pods and in the grocery store and all of a sudden noticed I couldn't see the other end of the store, it scared me for a minute but I figured out what was going on pretty quick.
