Well im sorry to say my mom suffers from alcohol addiction pretty bad for the last 6 years and im very worried for her health. We've tied rehab aa etc. but she cant kick it. She also like to smoke cannabis when she has money and is no noob when it comes to lsd and shrooms although its been since the 80's since she rlly messed around with psycs. And when i say she's bad she will drink from the time she gets up but due to her addiction she is recently very poor and has had to move in with me.....

a couple of years ago i asked her if she would want to take a hit of some very strong lsd and she said yes i asked in hopes it might give her some realization and it did. She realized that she wasnt drinking anymore because she wantd to but ecause she had to. It made her depressed. Basically I've heard that ayahuasca has cured addiction but i personally dont want to waste my money on caapi and mhrb when i already have both 4-aco-dmt/amt?

Do you think this would help at all or an ayahuasca brew would be better. amt or dmt? amt affects me more beautifuly and spiritually than dmt. I also have escaline which i have yet to try but will soon do a report on. plz help

Any chance I could find some here?

for someone to quit a drug they have to dislike what it is doing to them.

if you gave her lsd and it made her more hopeless i dont see why more would help.

she needs to look into alcohol detox and valium/chlordiazepoxide.

when the physical effects are out of the way after a month or so, maybe a trip then would be more productive. because its either that or trip while drunk or trip in withdrawl, neither of which sound pleasant or inspiring to me. tripping on alcohol is stupifying and tripping in withdrawl wounds like hell.

^ This..

But if you are hell bent on using a psychedelic (if the other options just aren't an option / don't work) then i suggest reading into ibogaine.

Be very careful with Ibogaine because of age and health, if you follow that route after careful consideration then she will need to be as healthy as possible with her condition if she is to survive.

Try to take her on nature walks and keep her on her feet as much as she is able to rebuild her strength slowly regardless, exercise (even light weights for elderly people) and diet are the key plus your positive reinforcement.

Good luck bro.

Take your mom to the doctor and ask the doctor to get her on a benzodiazepine taper to get her off of ethanol. Make sure she is 100% ready to quit drinking before going for this.

Hopefully she will respond well to a valium taper or whatever the doctor decides is in her best interest.

heres the thing she acually drinks about a week out of every month because she bearly has an income so she's sober abput 3 weeks at a time and valium is out of the question because she has no insurance and she has abused xanax in the past.she is ready to quit and reads aa when she dosent drink but gets killer withdrawels when she stops.and ive nver heard of ibogaine so i wont try that any coments on ayahuasca or 4 aco?and the lsd acually helped some she stopped going to the bar and made her realize the magnitude of her addiction.oh and she's aware of this thread and appreciates the input.

I'm very doubtful of claims of "One shot cures". They usually work for a week or two and then when you're back going to work in the pissing rain at 5am and the gas mans knocking the door demanding the fucking rent money you tend to crack open the jack daniels again.

Well it sounds like she is definitely heading in the right direction to make a positive change, alcohol made me so tired I had to work extra hard just being myself.

She will need to taper it off slowly as there can be acute withdrawals for some people that can even stop the heart, if she can set a schedule to work towards and accept there may be relapses but to keep at it (it took me over a decade to quit drinking). Perhaps no drugs but wine or beer for a few months and then taper that down to zero as she regains her health.

There are some other sources more specific for you mother, I don't personally belief AA is an answer at all, start studying the website below.
