Psychedelics make me excited to be a human.

The idea behind them is so magical, it makes me almost giddy. I love reading about people's experiences, they transport me there right along with the person. Its amazing that we can take compounds that make our minds work in a completely different fashion than they normally do, its truly awesome to have free will and the ability to gain knowledge and introspection of ones soul/being/mind whatever you want to call it.

What excites you most about psychedelics?

I really like the idea of putting them to real-world use, e.g. psychedelic therapy, mapping out the brain. I think they have a lot of potential for making the world a much better place. Not to mention they're ridiculously fun.

I like that we fantasise about fantastic worlds and contemplate all these corners of our minds, but here are actual substances that can really take us there. It makes the human experience a lot more worthwhile. I also deeply respect their capacity to heal, change and inform.
