Psychedelics improving heartburn from acid reflux (gerd)

Hi,

Anyone ever heard of psychedelics improving the heartburn caused from acid reflux (gerd)?

I tried mushrooms and 5-meo-mipt since I started acid reflux treatment and I feel way better when tripping. Not heartburn at all. Even in the day after.

I only found posts saying the opposite, saying that psychelics do cause heartburns.

And actually everything causes me heartburns...

I haven't noticed that effect to be honest. Sometimes reflux is caused by stress, so perhaps psychedelics distract one from their worries somewhat... I get heartburn and whatnot too. I find that its the sort of thing that I really don't wish to feel while tripping, so I would always take ranitidine and ensure I have other antacid on hand. I've had quite bad heartburn and indigestion from LSD in particular, so I eat little and simply prior to tripping and not at all during. LSD has some effect on histamine, a catalyst for stomach acid secretion which may offer some explanation... I know nothing regarding other psychedelics and GERD/GORD sorry..
