Psychedelics and Working out

More focused on cardiovascular, are any of the psychedelics out there at all fit for doing some jogging in your opinion?

I get bored a lot jogging and/or running. Music is cool for a while but its not as good as chillen and listening to it.
 
since ive been doing ketamine on a regular basis (weekend)

I have decided that I want to get as big as possible so I'm eating loads and working out intensely and resting alot.

why? Because when I was on Ketamine round my mates flat I went to the toilet and looked in the mirror and just realised how gaunt I was, fair enough its because I do alot of cardio.
But I didnt look healthy and I got the picture in my head that my mates thought I was some skinny K head. At least when you're bigger when you are on ketamine or any other drug that can make you look like a state you actually look healthy.

I was looking at my face in the mirror and my cheeks were so sucked in, I could actually see my face as a skull.

So psychedelics have made me want to workout more and get big n strong but I dont work out when im on drugs.

I feel the same way.

I dont think a psychedelic would be suitable for exercising. Personally I like being completely sober when working out/jogging unless of course Im dancing the night away, but I dont think that counts :)

Couldnt imagine tripping when I was jogging could be very productive. Id probably stop all the time to watch the trees and the sky hehe.
 
I love to hike on LSD. Walking is such a fundamental human activity, it really brings out a sense of peace and balance. With a head full of acid, surrounded by beautiful scenery, it can really make for quite a transcendental experience. :)
 
A friend of mine swears by downhill skiing on large doses of mushrooms. He's also done MMA on them too. Personally, I don't find mushrooms conducive to anything but light dancing or hiking, but LSD is more energetic and focused, so has more potential for vigorous activity. Only problem is the increased mucus production I get from it, kinda would get in the way of breathing properly during exertion.
 
When I was doing DOI once or twice a week over the summer, I would often go for a jog/run in the early morning after staying up all night. I broke through a major hurdle in my running, being able to both run for longer periods without slowing down and workout for overall longer session times. These breakthroughs lasted while not tripping, but to a lesser extent.

It was euphoric as hell too! =D

Last weekend I smoked some AMT, took some LSD and went cutting wood :)

Cutting wood is such a therapeutic visceral activity. It's something humans have been doing for centuries and it's just so cool. The feel and texture of the wood is also nice.

Of course I only cut down the already dead stuff. Wood is such a awesome heat source, it's like the perfectly environmentally friendly heat source too. If you only cut down the dead stuff, you're not reducing the filtering capacity and it would just be left to rot in the forest, releasing methane and CO2 anyway. Might as well burn to heat your house and release CO2 that way instead of having it rot. :)

It's also awesome, productive exercise

Next time I go snowboarding I'm taking my AMT with me :)

It doesn't impede my social skills so I won't be weird with people on the chairlifts and it is such a mood lift. I might take a hit of LSD along with me if I feel it.
 
I almost always get the chills on psychedelic come-ups and oftentimes I get pretty drowsy as well. I've found that working out as I come up is a great way of alleviating both of these.

Btw, I've also jogged the morning after doing DOC, and the stimulant side was obvious, my stamina was much higher than normal.
 
closest thing to a workout was the first time i did acid. went to the beach and went bodysurfing at night. insane time. i recomend to anybody that lives near a beach.

2c-i made for a good hike too.

On 2c-i i swam across a pretty big lake. Took a 5 minute breather and swam back. By the time i got out of the water i was so exhausted i puked (im sure the 2c-i played a part in adding to my nausea though)

Also low doses of aMT i find slightly stimulating and it gives me motivation. I bet a hike, bike ride or a jog on AMT would be great.

Does dancing count as working out? I know some people who can dance all night on psychs, im sure thats some excellent cardio
 
Roger- AGREED! Hiking + LSD is perfect.

2c-i and racquetball was fun... until I got slammed at point blank leaving a massive bruise. Immediate severe spike in my blood pressure... all my veins were very bulged and you could see my pulse through my veins... my face turned beet red, etc. I almost killed the asshole who took that shot... then I noticed blood was coming out from underneath my fingernails... it didn't stop coming out for nearly 15 minutes either... a bit scary.

I could see DOB being good for exercise... if you don't mind poisoning yourself. I always feel like a barbarian ready to take on a 20 mile run followed by warrior battles on DOB. The other DOx's may be a better candidate... same amphetamine stimulation without the freaky poison.
