psychedelics and schizophrenia

my friends and i occasionally trip on a variety of psychedelics (2c-i, lsd, mushrooms) one of our newer friends has only done mdma and wants to join us on a trip, however, i asked him if he had a history of schizophrenia and his great great grandmother was a paranoid schizophrenic but no other history besides that. is it safe to consider tripping with us on anything? what chemicals are less dangerous to consider with a family history like that? I hope this isnt conflicting with the forum rules. sorry if it is =/

Lol, his great great grandmother was a skitzo huh? It doesn't seem that that's too close in the family tree to be the cause of much concern. Of course if you're worried about it, it could make for some awkwardness during the trip. "are you about to go crazy man?" lol.

lsA before lsD. Start with a low dose (2-4 seeds) that won't give a psychedelic experience and won't subject the user to nausea. Safer than going straight to LSD IME. Plus it's not illegal.

I've been diagnosed schiz and truly I tell you that psychedelics helped me more than anything else on this planet. I'm 44 and have tripped many many times on many many chems. I'm not condoning wreckless drug use here, but the fact of the matter is psychedelic drug use helped me be able to recognize episodes of psychotic thinking or perception, as well as helped me to overcome the panic of spontaneous hallucination.
