Psychedelics and auditory hallucinations/distortions

I have found that some psychedelics makes me hear music clearer than ever, making me extremely alert to every effect in music. The same applies to the sound of nature, e.g. trees in the wind and birds. LSD would be a good example of such a psychedelic.

On the other hand, e.g. 4-HO-DPT makes music sound strange, with the rhythm (well, mostly BPMs as I listen to electronic music) changing and the sound and BPM suddenly becoming slower and suddenly faster. Music just sounds very, very weird. Melodies become twitched and twisted, even dysharmonic.

What kind of auditory hallucinations have you experienced with psychedelics? Is there any special psychedelic that produces profound auditory hallucinations in you (or the opposite, hearing everything clearer and "cleaner")?

I can do mxe and listen to music until the sun comes up. In fact, I do this quite often haha. MxE makes every bar and sound perfectly in sync much like acid. Light shows are way more fluid for me (giving em) due to this music sync. Thats my theory at least. 2ce on the other hand made music semi botchy kind of like a chopped n screwed song which i fuckin hate. I tend to zone the music out in 2c trips where as with mxe/acid/shrooms the music is what will have me zoned in. strangly enough, k doesnt do this that strongly for me. Mxe has always seemed so much better to me

On DPT I experienced what I called HD hearing. I had on a very low volume album by a group called Camel, and although I could barely hear the music under normal circumstances I could hear it all around me in full 5.1 sound. Each cymbal hit was crystal clear and I could hear the guitar players pick running down the six string in stunning clarity. LSD also has this effect to me. Music and psychedelics equal amazing.

I assume you are familiar with the phenomena associated with N,N-DiPT ? And 5-MeO-DiPT has some of those as well, that is also true for my experiences with it. With 4-HO-DiPT though I don't think I had them, but I am not completely sure.

Of course LSD and mushrooms also have subliminal effects on musical experience and hallucinations, nitrous oxide on top of almost any psychedelic is also auditively profound. Impossible to imagine sober even, hardly of this earth.

^ I second DiPT, it is amazing.
It provides a lot of auditory distortions. Some people say that it makes music sound dissonant, but for me it made music sounds... different and better. But I tried it in only 40 mg, whereas most people do 60-100 mg, so it may be different at such doses.

Like Solipsis said, 5-MeO-DiPT also derives some of these effects from its parent compound. However, it didn't give distinct audial hallucinations, just enhancement of music. I can name several other compounds, which give me interesting effects:
1) 5-MeO-DMT: perhaps the most clear music enhancer with some synesthesia.
2) 2C-E: a "hardcore" music enhancer. It is similar to 5-MeO-DMT, however it is a bit "dirty" and provides really, really intense synesthesia.

Other MeO-tryptamines can affect music too, but not in the unique and intense way, so their effects don't worth describing.

Also, 2C-I and 2C-T-2 can give me quite intense sounds: "whoop-whoop-whoop"s, buzzing, a sound of "flowing water" and various others.

4-aco/ho-dipt and dpt enhances the appreciation for music by a significant margin for me. The effect is so good, that it would be worth taking either of these compounds only for this property.
I would say 4-aco/ho-dipt is even better than dpt in this area, dpt is a close second though.
