Ever since me and my friend did shrooms we both think we notice a difference in our pot high. Has this happened to anyone else and, if so, how long did it last?
Also, it's not really a bad change, just different.

It's called an "afterglow" cannabis re-inducing subtle mushie-tinges into your high. just appreciate it it's normal.

yeah just ride it out kid, you don't have HPPD or anything. just hit that blunt again, ok?

i have felt that a number of times - it can take a few weeks before being 'stoned' feels more like what it used to.. it happened for me with shrooms, LSD and meth (on separate occasions).. especially the day after you will have a very different experience when smoking..

Please give your threads a descriptive title in future OP. I've renamed it for now, we'll see how it goes, may well be merged with combos megathread.

it absolutely will divert your high. psychedelics + weed = craZy trip. you know it.

Yeah man its more trippy. Maybe your mind is just in that mode of thinking still from the trip, and it intensify when you blaze just like everything else. Do you notice feeling slightly different when you aren't smoking too, I usually do after tripping and it gets intensified by the herb.

My high has never been the same. Never have got the comfort I once had while high after doing shrooms the second time.

I have most deffinatly noticed a significant change in my cannabis high ever since doing a lot of LSD but I wouldn't say to much of a change in a physical body high other than it being less than usual and slightly more "universal?" but my mind high is most deffinatly changed. I have horrible anxiety and LSD potentiated and some times something as less as 1 to 2 hits of marijuana can send my spiraling out of control into an anxiety attack, (usually happens from the bong because my chest will hurt and get me thinking then comes anxiety)

But the most thing iv noticed is I used to get a more "hype" "happy" "lets have a good night" feel, now its MUCH MUCH more bland and just.....there... kind of deppressing sometimes, I sometimes think because i would be so so happy on acid you know with the perma-smile and nothing but laughs the first couple hours than the onset of the more spiritual mysterious psychedelic state. but its almost as if the super happy "smile state" that u get towards the start of the trip is so happy that the somewhat happy and euphoric effects of cannibas became diminished if not diminished non-existent

If any one else experienced this? did it fade?
OP do you also have this?

Wow, v.weird to stumble across this! I have smoked cannabis for the past 9months non-stop and just took MXE the other day - a psychedelic drug! and now every time i smoke some i feel the light effects of MXE! feels kinda wierd much!

Yeah it happens, smoking herb became psychedelic for me after I'd taken LSD and for sure after I ate mushrooms.

Just enjoy it. :) That's what I do. If you ever vaporize herb or eat it in food you'll see how it's very psychedelic. Sometimes if you smoke an excellent Sativa it can get this way too. :)

Psychedelics will change you, sober or baked, same difference. If you're not prepared to accept that, don't touch them. And yes, weed provided a different experience before I started to do psychs, but it's subtle. I noticed it right away, but never really cared enough to get flustered over it.

lasts a few days for me... when i did a bunch in a month span during the summer pot gave me pretty fun visuals and flashbacks randomly for about 3 months.

So yeah, really changed the high.

Not necessarily true. Plenty of people do shrooms or acid and get absolutely nothing out of it. Your mind state and how you wish to interpret the effects is what ultimately give you those spiritual insights and shit.

Yeah, you're right I suppose, there's no guaranteed enlightenment. But on the other hand doing acid and shrooms will inevitably turn some screws loose, now matter how insensitive or thick you are it'll be apparent sooner rather than later, harmless stuff most likely but still...Thats a price anyone has to be prepared to pay for toying with powerful chemicals of this class.

voxide i love your avatar ^^^

one time i rolled 4 days in a row and it changed my weed high forever :(
Thank you. %)

Oh yeah, I'm definitely not doubting that long term or heavy use of psychs isn't a good idea. It's incredibly apparent that plenty of seasoned psychonauts are a little fucked up and socially awkward. It might not be possible to figure out exactly what's wrong with them, but you can just tell something is a little off. Things like acid are better saved as a once in a while indulgence. In terms of the effects themselves, it all has to do with how much you researched and learned prior to the experience. The average 1st time shroom tripper doesn't know anything about that Terrence Mckenna spirituality dimension bullshit.
