Hi everyone,

Firstly let me say that I am not looking to source pyschedelic drugs.

I'm travelling to New York, Washington DC and San Francisco soon and I'm interested in places, museums, art galleries etc that relate to psychedelic history/culture. Any ideas?

Thanks

Discovered this recently, which you may find interesting: magicbussf.com

Haven't checked it out yet, but plan to sometime soon.

Sounds like a fun trip you've got planned, hope it goes well! :D

Are you going to have a car and someone good to drive? IF so, I highly recommend visiting the Great Falls in the DC area. It's astonishingly, breathtakingly beautiful.

If the dude's going to be in DC proper at all, I'd actively advise against using a car. Public transportation works much better, all those damned signs telling you not to turn left...

To the OP: No particular recommendation from me on where to go, oh actually, there's that dilapidated graffiti covered broken bridge thing in Georgetown right by the francis scott key bridge. Like from M, go down to Water street (underneath the highway) and just follow that. It's not exactly the most isolated place on the planet, but sometimes you can have the place to yourself. Oh, and if you see the memorials, go at night, they look much cooler, though the reflecting pool will be a mosquito ridden nightmare that you should avoid.
