Psychedelic suggestion

...a list of psychedelics that are more mellow and relaxing, less speedy, less likely to cause anxiety, with less of a body load/high, and less intense visual and mental stimulation

The Psychedelic Drugs Index is always a good place to start. You'd be amazed at the amount of information it indexes :)

In here, we find:

The Most Gentle Psychedelic
The Least Anxiogenic Psychedelic
The Most Safe Psychedelic
Also among the gems are illuminati_boy's survey of different research chemicals. You might want to have a look at the data/results and see if any stand out as particularly benign.

My own experience has yielded the following regarding safe/pleasant/benign experiences:

1) Dose low. This probably cannot be underestimated. I must say that doing half or quarter of a blotter of acid, or 15-20 mg of 2C-C, makes for a very safe trip.
2) 2C-C and 4-HO-MET have only provided me with very calm experiences (though a friend had a bad experience with even a low dose, 11 mg, of 4-HO-MET). The upside (for me) of 4-HO-MET over 2C-C for me is that it is somewhat less speedy (I find 2C-C to be both speedy and sedating); however, I regard the tryptamines I have tried (mushrooms, 4-HO-MET) to be somewhat abrupt when it comes to changes in my emotional disposition.

Stuff I've gathered from reading Bluelight too much:

1) 2C-C, 2C-D and 4-HO-MET appear by most standards to be pretty easy on the mind (even if they are still, in particular 4-HO-MET, quite visual).

EDIT(2): even if 4-AcO-DMT has a reputation for being slightly sedating for some, I still wouldn't recommend it, because it seems (haven't tried it personally) to be capable of being every bit as serious as mushrooms - which is to say, a lot.

I have the same problem, OP. From what I've read (which is a lot), I'd recommend starting w/ low doses of the following (not combined, of course):

2C-C
4-HO-MET or 4-AcO-MET
mescaline
4-AcO-DMT
LSD
5-MeO-DALT
2C-B

After dose, the most important factor in determining the direction of your trip is set and setting. Besides being in a good mood and good physical health, choose your trip partners and activities carefully. It's a lot easier to deal with/ignore body load when you're in a mentally stimulating environment where you feel comfortable and inspired.

Thanks bud :)

Im starting to see a trend in the suggestions

I'm sorry but we don't allow "What should I take?" threads, no matter how you try to disguise it. This has nothing to do with incrimination, but is a pure matter of harm reduction. With drugs, every user is different, especially with psychedelics, this means that a drug that is extremely light-hearted and easy-going for one user maybe be a horror-trip for someone else.

There's an example just in this thread. Lady Codone mentioned 4-AcO-DMT as a suggestion for an easy-going trip, and for some this is the case, for me on the other hand it produces the most scariest chilling experiences of any drug I've tried, and leaves me curled up in the foetal position wishing I'd taken something else.

Now, in my case, those horror trips can actually be quite useful for me and provide some real lessons, but that's clearly not what you're looking for, which goes to show - people experience vastly different things, and taking someone's suggestion blindly is likely to lead to trouble.

Though there are similar threads in existence, as someone mentioned, which you can use to read what people think is the most gentle psychedelic. Remember not to just take the suggestions though, but to further research any chemicals that take your interesting and learn about them in detail before you decide whether to try them or not :)
