Maybe they don't like benzos? I honestly don't ever want to trip again without some benzo of one sort or another thrown in. For me, it's opioids that 'mute' trips, albeit I still enjoy adding them as well. YMMV.

Also it might be kind of difficult altogether to reach a mutual agreement upon which psychoactive drug combination is good and which is bad. It is impossible enough to reach that conclusion with taking a single strong psychoactive substance already
